Oliver Weidmann takes over the presidency of the Board of Directors

We are delighted to welcome Oliver Weidmann to the Board of Directors of PORT Real Estate Development AG. At the Annual General Meeting of 27 May 2026 he was elected to the Board of Directors and takes over as its President. With him, PORT gains a personality who combines founder, governance and technology experience in a way that fits PORT's business model — the combination of real estate development and a data-based platform.

Entrepreneur, investor, board member

Oliver Weidmann is a Swiss entrepreneur, board member and private investor. He comes from the founding family of Déesse AG (Cosmetics of Switzerland) and has been active on the executive board of the Swiss Direct Selling Association (VDF) since 2012. Since the late 1990s he has co-founded several internet and technology companies, and since 2020 he has run w7ventures, his own investment vehicle for engagements in Swiss and international early-stage companies.

As Chairman of the Board of Directors of CleanGreens Solutions SA (2022–2025), he has recent experience in the strategic leadership of a Swiss technology company. His background combines a degree in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich with a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich — a combination of technical understanding and financial expertise that is of particular value for the further development of PORT.
