PORT strengthens its Advisory Board – Roman Bargezi joins

With Roman Bargezi, PORT Real Estate Development AG gains another strong partner – as an investor and member of the Advisory Board. As a member of the Board of Directors of Ringier AG and the person responsible for the Ringier family's real estate portfolio, he brings an interdisciplinary perspective to the strategic development of PORT – with a particular focus on brand positioning, media planning and digital innovation.

Career

Roman Bargezi worked for over thirteen years in various positions in the banking and IT sector as well as at ETH Zürich. He was Chief Software Architect, among others for Dreyfus Söhne & Cie AG, and was active for many years on the management board of Infonic AG, whose board of directors he still belongs to today. Today he is Managing Director of RIBALI AG (Family Office) and Delegate of the Board of Directors of Ringier Art & Immobilien AG.

In his own words

His decision to get involved with PORT is closely linked to his personal view of the current housing situation in Switzerland. In his own words:

«Recently I went with an acquaintance to view an apartment in north-eastern Switzerland. I myself live in central Switzerland – and here, too, numerous construction cranes shape the landscape. Switzerland needs more housing for our still-growing population. As one of those responsible for the Ringier family's investments, I was presented with a factsheet from PORT Real Estate Development AG. The business basis set out in it, as well as the people and competencies involved, immediately made me curious. After several conversations, it was clear to me: here is a strong team on the move with the right ideas – and I want to be part of it.»
